Since 2018, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) regularly monitors the progress of European countries towards the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals through the selection of over 70 elementary indicators and their aggregation into 16 composite indicators. In this document, ASviS presents the composite indicators to measure the performance of the European Union and of its individual countries with respect to the SDGs over the years 2010-2017. This analysis is based on the most recent SDG indicators published by Eurostat and allows an assessment of progress and a comparison of the relative performance of all European countries with respect to the EU average.
